Li Auto launched the 2026 Li i6 on October 28 at RMB 249,800, with an introductory price of RMB 239,800 through November 30. The update adds the Mach M100 chip, a 96 kWh battery and CLTC range of up to 780 km.

CnEVPost reported and CarNewsChina reported that Li Auto launched the 2026 Li i6 on October 28 with a starting price of RMB 249,800, unchanged from the 2025 model, while upgrading the five-seat electric SUV's in-house chip, battery and cabin features. Customers who buy the model on or before November 30 can get introductory benefits that reduce the price to RMB 239,800.

Li Auto has opened orders for vehicles with short delivery lead times, with deliveries possible in as little as one to two weeks, in line with its earlier plan to begin deliveries in early November.

A main part of the update is the driver-assistance hardware. The 2026 Li i6 comes standard with Li Auto's in-house Mach M100 chip, replacing the Nvidia Thor-U used in the 2025 model. Each M100 chip delivers 1,280 TOPS of computing power, compared with 700 TOPS for the Thor-U.

Buyers can also choose a dual-M100 package that raises computing power to 2,560 TOPS. That package adds two side-facing and one rear-facing solid-state LiDAR sensors to the standard forward-facing LiDAR, as well as sensor-activated power front doors.

The model now uses Li Auto's in-house Lianshan 5C lithium iron phosphate battery with 96 kWh capacity, up from 87.3 kWh in the 2025 model. CarNewsChina noted that the 2026 Li i6 does not use CATL batteries.

CLTC range rises to 780 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 710 km for the all-wheel-drive version, increases of 60 km and 50 km, respectively. Li Auto said the vehicle can add about 500 km of range in 10 minutes of charging.

Inside the cabin, the cockpit chip has been upgraded from Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8295P to the Snapdragon 8797. The two front 15.7-inch displays have been replaced by a 29-inch 6K panoramic screen.

The model comes standard with zero-gravity seats for both front occupants, offering 16-way power adjustment and 18-point massage. A 21-inch 4K rear entertainment screen remains optional. Other premium features include an onboard refrigerator capable of cooling to -6 degrees Celsius.

Other updates include ADB matrix headlights, a power frunk and new exterior door handles. Li Auto plans to offer a paid power frunk upgrade for 2025 Li i6 owners in December.

The 2026 Li i6 keeps Li Auto's pure electric design language, with a shark front fascia and star ring headlights. The exterior color range adds Mint Green and Purple. The side profile retains a fastback silhouette and uses semi-hidden door handles.

The vehicle measures 4,950 mm in length, 1,935 mm in width and 1,655 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Length, width and wheelbase are unchanged from the previous model, while height is slightly reduced.

Deliveries

The Li i6 was originally launched in September 2025. The model delivered 7,379 vehicles in September, down 56.54% from the previous month and accounting for 23.19% of Li Auto's monthly deliveries.

In the first nine months of 2026, Li i6 deliveries totaled 160,221 vehicles. Li Auto's total deliveries over the same period reached 293,436 vehicles, down 1.25% year on year.
